Reading Tails Program Launches at 威尼斯人在线官网

We are thrilled to introduce the Reading Tails program to 威尼斯人在线官网! Beginning this spring, lower school students will have the unique opportunity to read alongside certified therapy dogs as part of an exciting literacy initiative designed to foster a love of reading and boost reading fluency.
Every Wednesday, students will welcome Millie and Dama—two friendly, 4-year-old Australian Labradoodles—along with their qualified handlers, Ms. Sarah Johnson and Ms. Ann Krahnert. These calm and gentle companions provide a non-judgmental audience, helping young readers gain confidence and build positive associations with reading.

We are excited to see how this engaging program will enhance our students' reading skills and support their continued academic growth. Welcome, Millie and Dama!

As a side note, Sarah Johnson is the mother of Lauren '04 and Douglass '09. Ann Krahnert is the mother of Lauren '08 and John '04. It's super special to have such a generous school community that continues to value 威尼斯人在线官网 even after the days of being an enrolled family.
